GRAPHIC RECORDING

Visual documentation of talks, workshops and events. Turning complex conversations into engaging illustrated records

VISUALISING IDEAS AND CONVERSATIONS

I use drawing, words and visual storytelling to capture key ideas from talks, discussions, workshops and research. Graphic recordings can document an event as it unfolds, communicate complex information to wider audiences, or provide a visual record that continues to be useful after the event

SELECTED WORK

Association Européenne des Conservatoires (AEC) · 2025

For the AEC Annual Congress at Mozarteum University Salzburg in November 2025, I created a series of visual recordings capturing key talks and discussions across the event. Working collaboratively with the AEC, the illustrations were developed through an iterative process and created as visual summaries for inclusion in their 2025 Annual Report.

Twin Politics · 2025

Graphic recording for TwinPolitics, an ERC-funded research project led by Associate Professor Alice Vadrot exploring the role of digital ocean twins in international environmental negotiations. Following an initial visual recording of a panel discussion, I was commissioned to develop further visualisations communicating the research proposals of incoming PhD researchers.

INDEPENDENT GRAPHIC RECORDING

I also use graphic recording as a personal practice, exploring how complex ideas and discussions can be transformed into visual narratives

Sanity Check on Climate Change

Visual recording of a discussion on climate science with Chris Field

The Doomsday Machine

Visual response to Carl Rochibaud discussion of the threat of nuclear war
