This page harks back to enjoyable group activities back in the days. Hackey sack- a university cliché for good reason. Far more beneficial for exercise and coordination than the Halo and Counterstrike LANs that followed. Good fun, and quite rewarding once you finally get past the initial phase of ‘completely goofy with two left feet’. On a more serious note, incorporating activities like this in the story help to give it a bit of dimension, and showing the world around and what they get up to is a welcome respite from the main character. I’ll be also adding in bits of news reports from the time, current events in 2005, music, television shows… even the launch of Facebook in Australia. Halcyon days.
